How do i get a discounted price?
Just ask. Send an email or Contact us. Our pricelists are either listed at Recommended Retail Price or at an Indicative price. Your price will be determined on quantity. Trade prices and Commercial quantities are also discounted off Recommended Retail Price

How do I get a quote?
Email as much info as possible to info@hardwarestore.com.au
Brand, model numbers, name, description, finish, grade, species, glazing, lengths, size.
Phone us. Speak to a real person. Sometimes you will be asked to leave a message on our answering service. This only happens when all our lines are busy. We will endeavour to reply within an hour. Sorry in advance if this happens to you.

How do I order & pay?
We accept the following VISA - MASTERCARD - Cheque - Bank transfer. To place an order, please submit your order by phone, and then send the written quote confirmation form we have sent you previously by email, fax or post. All credit card numbers are destroyed after processing

Can I order online?
No. This is due to the nature of our products.
Our products usually need modifications and extra components to the basic model. Its best to talk to us or write to us.
All of our transactions are in writing or verbal. This way we can iron out any mistakes or problems before they arise.

Why are you different from my local traditional hardware store?
Our product knowledge is superior. Our focus is to supply quality brands and items that suit your project....not the latest mass produced product that is commonly found on the shelf at a local hardware store.
We supply on a ~ Just in Time ~ basis. That means we source and consolidate the products directly from the manufacturer/wholesaler/distributor. A true One Stop Shop situation for doors and associated door hardware.

Competitive?
We try our best. Our written quotations are always our best price.
We work from a small warehouse, keep limited stock and have limited staff.
Our overheads are low.

Where is your showroom?
We dont have one. Our website is a virtual showroom
Majority of our retail customers are from Regional Australia, Interstate and International.
Our commercial clients and tradesman already know what they need.
Some of our suppliers have invested in displays at various Building information centres.

Do you deliver Australia wide.
Yes.
Australia Post E-parcel for small items
Barnetts couriers - Eastern Australia
Perth Freightliners - Western Australia
TNT for larger items and regional and remote locations.

We use TNT to ship to other states and country NSW. It will always work out cheaper for country and interstate deliveries to be organised by the purchaser (YOU).
If you are out of Sydney, you may find your local carriers are cheaper than TNT.
